Career opportunities exist in salons almost everywhere, cities both large and small. You can choose from a wide variety of careers in both the cosmetology and nail technology professions such as men’s and women’s hair design, colorist, manicurist, nail technician, or salon owner.
The Fullen School of Hair Design is a complete school of cosmetology. We offer complete 1800 hour cosmetology courses and 300 hour nail technology courses, which will prepare you for licensure by the State of Nebraska as a Cosmetologist or Nail Technologist.

We feel it is important that you receive the best instruction and preparation possible in order to fully develop your skills. You will receive a combination of classroom instruction, and hands on clinic training under the guidance of licensed instructors. Our objective is to teach creative hair styling, the art of applying cosmetics, and the study and application of hair, skin, and nail products.

All members of our professional instructional staff are fully licensed by the State of Nebraska, holding dual licenses as both Registered Cosmetologists and Cosmetology Instructors.
Our instructors have worked as cosmetologists in private salons, as well as having many years of experience in a teaching environment. This experience enables our instructors to give the student the real life skills necessary in order to be successful in the cosmetology profession.
Instructors also attend accredited in-service training and other educational seminars so the student is provided with the best possible cosmetology education.
All cosmetology students shall be registered on an application form prescribed by the Department of Health. The student must provide a birth certificate and acceptable proof of education.
